WWE Star Joins Faction In Another Promotion

A contracted WWE superstar has joined a faction in another wrestling company.

The tallest WWE superstar under contract is former Tag Team Champion Omos, who towers over everybody he faces in the ring.

While Omos has accomplished a lot of cool things in his career like facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and winning Tag Team Titles with AJ Styles, the 7’3″ powerhouse hasn’t been used by the company much this year.

Omos is used so infrequently that his last match was during the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the SmackDown before WrestleMania 40.

When Omos was in the Royal Rumble match, he entered as the 21st entrant and was quickly eliminated by Bron Breakker.

WWE’s Omos Has Joined Pro Wrestling NOAH Stable

It has been announced that the WWE giant Omos will make his NOAH debut in Japan on New Year’s Day at the company’s NOAH The New Year show.

At the event, Omos will team up with Jack Morris to challenge Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Tag Team Championship at the event taking place at Budokan Hall.

Omos was in attendance at the NOAH The New Year press conference with Morris and former WWE star Yoshi Tatsu, who is Morris’ Team 2000x stablemate. Tatsu also served as Omos’ translator.

During the press event, the Team 2000x stable announced that Omos was an official member of the group.

There will be another WWE star wrestling at the NOAH The New Year on January 1 event because the current United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura faces Ulka Sasaki in a non-title match.
