Major WWE Star Calls John Cena’s Heel Turn A “Waste Of Time”
John Cena turned babyface at SummerSlam, marking the end of his brief heel run.
The Champ turned heel at Elimination Chamber by selling his soul to The Rock, but fast forward to SummerSlam, he buried The Rock and turned babyface again.
With only four months left for his final match, the global juggernaut will start to set up his final opponent.
Drew McIntyre wants to be John Cena’s final match after wasted heel turn
The Champ’s heel turn was something that fans had wondered about for two decades. It seemed like something WWE had to do to give the fans a heel turn, so no one would be left with a ‘What If’ after Cena’s retirement.
However, on SEN Sporting Capital, Drew McIntyre claimed that The Champ’s heel turn was a waste, and now he is back at being Super Cena again, he would love to “send him right into retirement“.
John Cena, that would be a fun match in Perth. I need to get one of those last matches. Now that he’s Super Cena again, I don’t want any part of these last six months. What a waste of time. Now that he’s back to Super Cena, if that match happens, eventually, I’ll be very happy to send him right into retirement. He’s doing a great job in Hollywood. Peacemaker is amazing. I’ll be happy to kick him out the door and continue the good work he’s doing outside of the company. [h/t: Fightful]
