WWE Star Claims Controversial Jade Cargill Video “An Honest Mistake”

A WWE star has denied deliberately sharing a controversial video to mock Jade Cargill.

Back in May social media was swamped by speculation that Tiffany Stratton had landed herself in hot water with WWE.

The rumours began after Stratton posted a video on social media of her hitting Jade Cargill in a match with Bianca Belair’s surprised reaction. The clip had a racially insensitive comment layered over the top and several laughing emojis. It should be noted that the audio in the post was from a meme and not recorded by Stratton.

The clip was quickly deleted and never acknowledged publicly by anyone involved.

Jade Cargill Clip Was “An Honest Mistake”

During an interview with Adrian Hernandez ahead of Money in the Bank, Stratton was asked about the clip, describing it as an “honest mistake.”

“It was an honest mistake. I didn’t hear the audio. I had it up for maybe 20 seconds and I deleted it instantly as soon as I heard the audio. It was an honest mistake,”

Despite the speculation, it was reported shortly after the incident that there was no heat on Tiffany Stratton, and she remains in good favour with WWE bosses.

Stratton is set to take part in the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on July 6th where she’s one of the favourites to win.
