WWE Star’s Injury Announced On RAW, Major Tag Team Officially Split
A major WWE tag team has officially split after a former champion suffered an injury.
Austin Theory and Grayson Waller started teaming up in September 2023. The two rising superstars later became known as A-Town Down Under.
In April 2024, Theory and Waller captured the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 40. They held the title for 90 days before dropping it to DIY on SmackDown.
Over the past few months, tension has been growing between the two tag partners. Meanwhile, Waller has been spotted multiple times with The New Day backstage on RAW, leading to speculation that he may join the faction to replace Big E.
Grayson Waller Makes Massive Announcements On WWE RAW
Tonight on Monday Night RAW, Grayson Waller approached The New Day backstage after Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods lost a number-one contender’s match for the World Tag Team Championship.
The Australian star informed The New Day that Theory has injured himself and that A-Town Down Under was finally done. The 35-year-old then offered his services to Kingston and Woods, declaring himself a “free agent.”
I have some great news. Austin Theory is A-Town Down. That idiot got himself injured. A-Town Down Under is finally done. Two hundred and forty pounds of dead weight off my back. And you know what that means. You looking for an Ace, I’m a free agent. Look no further than Big G.
While they seemed confused by Waller’s proposal, The New Day told him that they loved the idea.
Grayson Waller tells The New Day that Austin Theory got himself injured so he no longer needs to carry the dead weight and wants to work with The New Day.
