WWE Star Injured Again After Long Layoff
WWE NXT star Cora Jade only recently returned to the ring after a spell out and it looks like she could be set to miss more time after an apparent injury.
Cora Jade missed five months of action in the second half of 2023, returning to action on the 12th of December edition of NXT where she teamed with Blair Davenport to defeat Lyra Valkyria and Nikkita Lyons. She picked up a big singles win over Gigi Dolin on the 9th of January but now it seems things could have come crashing to a halt on a live event.
On the 12th of January, Jade challenged Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship in Dade City, Florida but that match was forced to come to a sudden end. Jade is believed to have suffered a knee injury during the match after landing awkwardly and was quickly attended to by referees and trainers.
Breaking news @CoraJadeWWE looks to have a bad knee injury at the NXT house show in Dade City FL. There was a fake knee injury spot early in the match but the end saw jade land funny and a pin by Lyra that looked botched 4 people carried jade to the back #NXTDadeCity#nxtpic.twitter.com/SWOZxeJFbK

Another WWE Match Comes To Sudden End
While it remains unknown how serious the injury to Cora Jade is, she was not the only person there was concern over following a match on the 12th of January.
A SmackDown match was stopped by the referee following a terrifying spot that almost ended in complete disaster for those involved.
