A top WWE star has defended Stephanie McMahon.
Charlotte Flair has been openly supportive of The Billion Dollar Princess. She was even one of the guests on Stephanie’s Places on ESPN+.
In an article she wrote for The Players’ Tribune, The Queen discussed many professional and personal subjects, including the influence of several legends on women’s wrestling.
The 14-time world champion defended McMahon against those who downplay her role in the women’s revolution, describing them as “idiots.” Flair claimed it would not have happened without the former WWE Chairwoman.
Stephanie. I know that some people, for some reason, feel the need to downplay Stephanie’s role in the women’s revolution, and how instrumental she was to it. Those people are idiots. None of this happens without her.
