WWE Star Reveals Hurricane Ian Flooded Their Home

As Hurricane Ian wreaks havoc in the United States, a current WWE Superstar has revealed the damage done to their home through the storm’s flooding.

Hurricane Ian touched down on Florida on 28 September, bringing with it deadly 150mph winds, severe flooding, and thunderstorms.

Homes have also been completely destroyed, either by the winds or by being submerged in floods. WWE’s Angelo Dawkins is among those in the latter category, taking to Twitter to reveal his home underneath knee-deep water. In true Street Profits fashion, however, the Triple Crown Tag Team Champion remained in high spirits.

Both WWE and AEW have been forced to make changes to their plans this week in the wake of Hurricane Ian. Two NXT live events have been postponed until later in the year, while this week’s AEW Dynamite saw Swerve Strickland and Samoa Joe unable to make their planned appearances.

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque is also said to be worried with regards to travel flying into tonight’s (30 September) Friday Night SmackDown in Winnipeg, with much of the talent flying in from key Florida cities. Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s situation on a recent Wrestling Observer Radio broadcast:

“I know WWE’s very worried about Friday’s show because they have so many people from there. The hope was that it’ll be okay and people can get there from Tampa and Orlando to Winnipeg on Friday.”
