Major WWE Star Brands Hulk Hogan “Scummiest Person On Earth”
Hulk Hogan is not popular with one of WWE’s biggest names.
In recent months, it’s become strangely popular on social media for fans to compare anyone they feel is “political” to Hulk Hogan.
The most recent person to fall victim to the trend was Becky Lynch after she replaced Bayley at WrestleMania 41. In the eyes of some, this was Lynch legitimately using her backstage power to force Bayley out of the match so she could have a spot on the WrestleMania card.
However, “Becky Hogan” is less than impressed with the comparison.
During an appearance on WWE’s Raw Recap show, Lynch fired back, pointing out the physical toll wrestling has taken on her body, adding that she hasn’t gone through all that to be compared to the “scummiest person on Earth.”
“I wear the scars of what I’ve done on my body. I wear them with pride because of all I’ve given back. And these people go around, they compare me to the scummiest person on Earth after everything I’ve done, after everything that I’ve done for them? I’m supposed to sit here and take it.”
The comments confirmed that Hulk Hogan remains unpopular in the Lynch/Rollins household. Back in March, Lynch’s husband, Seth Rollins, said he wasn’t surprised Hogan was booed on his latest WWE appearance because of his conduct in recent years.
The former World Champion said Hogan “hasn’t done a lot to harbor goodwill in his name over the past few years.”
Hulk Hogan Launches New Wrestling Project
Despite his turbulent start to 2025, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff have partnered with Izzy Martinez to launch Real American Freestyle Wrestling. However, the announcement was met with collective bewilderment on social media, with some dubbing the news the biggest let-down ever.
In the days after the launch, Hogan claimed he wants the company to take the fight to UFC and WWE. The promotion’s inaugural event is set to take place on August 30.
