Absent WWE Star Posts Heartbreaking Personal Statement
WWE star Sheamus has been absent from WWE TV for a while.
The last time the WWE Universe saw The Celtic Warrior on TV was when he was in action against Rusev in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook match at WWE Clash In Paris, which took place at Paris La Défense Arena in France.
Amidst his absence from the weekly programming, Sheamus took to social media to share some personal, heartbreaking news. Taking to his Instagram account, he wrote an emotional message that was a heartfelt tribute to his beloved pet dog, Betty, who recently passed away.

In his post, he reflected on their journey together, how he first met Betty over four and a half years ago at the National Humane Association, where she had been abandoned by her previous owners. He described instantly knowing she belonged with him and his wife, Isabella Revilla.
He emphasized how much joy Betty brought to their home and everyone who met her. Even after losing one of her legs, she remained cheerful, resilient, and full of life.
Unlike my wife, who’s great at writing long, beautiful messages, I’m not always the best with words. But where do I start… Over four and a half years ago, I saw this chunky little pup at the National Humane Association — a dog who had been discarded by her owners. I instantly knew she was coming home with me.
What an incredible journey it’s been. Even though our time together was cut far too short, I’ll never regret the decision to make her part of our family. She brought so much joy and happiness into our home and into the lives of everyone who met her.
Even after losing her leg, she never lost her spirit — she was still just as happy, just to be home, surrounded by love. You stole my heart, and the hearts of everyone who knew you.
Thank you for the countless amazing moments and memories. I’ll never forget you. Rest well, sweet girl. I love ya Betty 💜
