WWE Star Has No Interest In Match With Roman Reigns
A rising WWE star doesn’t care about wrestling Roman Reigns.
In the weeks and months following WrestleMania 41, Roman Reigns has been at war with Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed.
During the rivalry, the ‘Tribal Thief’ Reed has developed a habit of stealing Reigns’ shoes, while at SummerSlam, Reigns teamed with Jey Uso to beat the Aussie and Bron Breakker.
This has led to suggestions that Reigns could be heading for singles matches with both Breakker and Reid, before eventually going after Rollins and the World Heavyweight Championship. At Clash in Paris, Seth Rollins will defend the title against CM Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight.
However, it seems that one member of the faction isn’t interested in facing Reigns anyway.
During an appearance on the Michael Fairman Channel, Breakker rejected the idea of a singles match with Reigns. Instead, he’s only interested in championship gold.
“No, because Roman’s not the champion, so… After we beat these two on Saturday, whoever’s WWE champion better be sweating it.”
Cody Rhodes Unsure About Roman Reigns Rematch
For the past three years, the careers of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have remained largely intertwined. This saw Rhodes fail as he challenged Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 39, before getting an emotional revenge a year later.
Six months later, at Bad Blood, they even teamed together to beat Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa.
Although Reigns is now wrapped up in a feud with Seth Rollins’ stable on Raw, and Rhodes is again Undisputed WWE Champion on SmackDown, many fans expect them to meet at WrestleMania once again. After all, each man holds one win over the other.
However, while Cody Rhodes wouldn’t turn down a third match, he recently stated that it’s “a very hard match to have happen.” Despite this, he added that a deciding match would be “significant” whenever it took place.
