WWE Star Goes Public With Grievances

A WWE Superstar that has been missing from television for several months has gone public with their apparent unhappiness at the situation.

Aliyah’s 2022 got off to an incredible start as she competed in her first singles match on SmackDown, defeating veteran Natalya in just 3.17 seconds.

More success came for Aliyah in August when she teamed up with Raquel Rodriguez to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, winning a tournament final for the vacant championship against Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. Just two weeks later, however, the Damage CTRL duo exacted their revenge and defeated Aliyah and Rodriguez for the championship.

While Raquel Rodriguez has gone on to more featured roles including challenging Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship on the final SmackDown of 2022, Aliyah has not been seen since.

Now she has seemingly made her unhappiness known in a series of Tweets that have since been deleted, she began by responding to a fan who asked where she had been since October, saying:

“Umm, i don’t know…”

Someone else suggested that she could be part of backstage segments but it seems she hasn’t been at shows as she wrote:

“If only I was backstage”

Another user suggested she return to the ring but as Aliyah pointed out, it’s not up to her:

“ain’t my call.”

Aliyah then responded to questions about her involvement in the upcoming WWE 2K23 game as well as the Elimination Chamber event in February, it looks like she might be missing from both of those as she commented:

“Sorry to let you down.”
