WWE Star Vents Frustration After High-Profile Loss
Former NXT Champion Ethan Page isn’t sure he can get another shot at the gold.
Page was confident of winning the Iron Survivor Challenge and becoming the Number 1 contender for the NXT Championship, but his plans were derailed when Oba Femi made his shock return to NXT at Deadline.
Femi made an immediate impact, quickly pinning Je’Von Evans, but his opponents soon worked together to try to take him out. Page managed to get a roll-up pin on the star, sending him to the penalty box. That proved to be a big mistake, as Page soon ended up in the penalty box himself and was on the receiving end of a beating from Femi.
Femi went on to win the match in the final minutes with a double-pin on Wes Lee and Nathan Frazer to bring him up to three points.
In a digital exclusive after the event, Page questioned his place in the company and how he would ever be able to get back to the main event.
“18 years, it took me to get here. To climb that mountain-top, to win the championship. It also took me 18 years to figure out that Ethan Page has no clue how to get back there.”
Admitting defeat, Page ended by saying, “I don’t know, I can’t do this.”

Ethan Page Targets Top WWE Main Roster Star
Ethan Page has set his sights on Cody Rhodes when he gets to WWE’s main roster. The star has a history with The American Nightmare going back to AEW, with Rhodes defeating All Ego in the promotion in 2021. As well as Rhodes, Page has plans to get in the ring with other legends including John Cena.
