A current WWE star has opened up about how the criticism he receives from fans only drives him to make his critics shut up.

Standing at 7’4″ and weighing over 400 pounds, Omos is the largest man in WWE right now and one of the biggest wrestlers ever. The former basketball player was signed by WWE in early 2019 and found himself on the Raw roster by late 2020.

The televised in-ring debut for Omos took place at WrestleMania 37 when he and AJ Styles dismantled The New Day to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions. That alliance and title reign had a good run, but then it was time for Omos to be on his own.

Over the past year, Omos has been put in the ring with some former WWE/Universal Champions like Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman. Omos’s next big match is against another former WWE Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins this Saturday, May 6th at Backlash.

In a new interview with Shak Wrestling, Omos spoke about how he’s aware of his critics, but he is also focused on making them shut up as well.

“I just gotta perform for me. As long as [the crowd] enjoys it, I see everything [about me] online… but at the end of the day all you gotta do is go out, perform, and make them shut up.”

Omos brought up his “monster” matchup at WWE Crown Jewel 2022 when he faced Braun Strowman.

“I remember all the doubters before we went out there and had that good match that we did. Sometimes you just gotta show that you are who you are.”
