WWE Star Finally Returns To The Ring After 398 Days
A WWE star has returned after recovering from a year-long injury.
Kiana James recently wrestled Michin at the Frost Back Center in San Antonio, Texas, on WWE Main Event, which will be aired at a later date.
James had been out of action since suffering an injury in June last year. It was later revealed that she had sustained a torn ACL, resulting in her time off from RAW.
Previously, Charlotte Flair posted a series of training videos on her social media account with James by her side.
The former NXT tag team champion was last seen in action on June 17, 2024, during a triple threat Money in the Bank qualifying match on RAW against Iyo Sky and Zelina Vega.
Kiana James was also seen in the background during a segment between Charlotte and Alexa Bliss on the July 18 taping of SmackDown.
Whether or not they were caught discussing a potential alliance remains to be seen.
Kiana James Appeared On The WWE Evolution Poster
Even before Kiana James returned to in-ring action, WWE seemingly spoiled her return.
The 28-year-old was featured on the official poster of the recently concluded all-women PLE, Evolution.
However, she was seen nowhere during the show in any capacity; no reports confirm that she was expected to appear at the event at any particular time.
Before arriving on the main roster, James was a regular on WWE NXT, where she captured the tag team championship with Fallon Henley. Their title reign would last 55 days.
James debuted on RAW during the April 26, 2024, episode.
