WWE star Jacob Fatu might return to WWE soon.

Fatu’s last appearance on TV was on the October 17, 2025, episode of Friday Night SmackDown. He was advertised to face Drew McIntyre.

But a segment showed him ambushed backstage, crushed under equipment, bleeding, and with his teeth visibly knocked out.

The on-screen attack was a storyline way to write him off TV because he had a non‑wrestling‑related injury centered on serious dental problems that required extensive surgery.

Jacob Fatu was also rumored to be a part of Survivor Series. He was supposed to be on the babyface team, but he couldn’t make it.

Therefore, according to the reports, Cody Rhodes replaced him.

It has been almost two months since Fatu was last seen in action. The fans have been missing him very much.

Jacob Fatu Is Close To A WWE Return

PWInsider recently reported that during Survivor Series, people backstage were talking about Jacob Fatu, claiming that he’s set to make his return very soon.

One source even pointed out that he could be back in the next few weeks.

“There was talk backstage at WWE Survivor Series that Jacob Fatu is close to returning to WWE storylines after taking time off to recover from a dental procedure.”

“One source believed Jacob could be back on the road within the next few weeks, but an exact date hasn’t been confirmed.”

Fatu was attacked by a mystery attacker on Friday Night SmackDown, whose identity is yet to be revealed.

Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre were the primary suspects, but they denied being the mystery assailant.

WWE pushed the idea that everyone is under investigation and hinted that someone close to him was the attacker.

But the storyline has been sidelined for a while. Perhaps they’ll continue the investigation angle once Fatu returns to TV.
