WWE Star To End Two-Year In-Ring Absence To Face Cody Rhodes?

Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre will face each other in Berlin, as dictated by The Scottish Warrior.

The latest episode of SmackDown almost had The American Nightmare stripped of the Undisputed WWE Championship.

However, Drew McIntyre’s Claymore saved Cody Rhodes from being stripped of the title.

Cody Rhodes could face another star instead of Drew McIntyre

The conversations between Cody Rhodes and Nick Aldis have been filled with rage. The General Manager is doing his best to keep Rhodes and McIntyre apart until match day. However, McIntyre is trying to have Rhodes attack him to cost him the title without even stepping inside the ring for the Three Stages of Hell match.

On Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray revealed that Rhodes and Aldis created more intensity in the ring than Rhodes and McIntyre. He would rather see The American Nightmare vs. SmackDown’s General Manager and have them recreate history.

I don’t know about you, but seeing Nick Aldis and Cody Rhodes in the middle of the ring, speaking to one another, I could give a s**t less about Drew McIntyre. All that did was make me wanna see Cody and Nick Aldis, to be honest with you. But there is a reason…We know the magic we got from Nick and Cody about seven or eight years ago at the OG All In, right? That was good s**t. [H/t: Wrestling Inc]
