WWE Star Earning “High Praise” Backstage

A prominent WWE star has been earning praise backstage.

One of the biggest WWE stories in recent weeks has followed Iyo Sky breaking away from Asuka and Kairi Sane. Sky found herself battling between her loyalty to Asuka and wanting to stand on her own, but the decision was ultimately taken for her.

This resulted in Asuka delivering some tough love, but Sky found a friend in Rhea Ripley, which set up a tag team match involving the quartet at Crown Jewel.

In Australia, Sky and Ripley beat the Kabuki Warriors, but the rivalry is far from over. 48 hours later on Raw, Asuka slapped Sane, telling her that she’d be facing Ripley again, and needed to make up for dishonouring her at Crown Jewel.

In the ring, Ripley again got the win, but Asuka and Kairi Sane got their revenge after the bell, hitting the beloved star with a DDT on the announce desk.

As noted by TC from Wrestle Votes, Sane’s recent performances haven’t gone unnoticed, with her match against Ripley in particular earning lots of praise.

Multiple sources I’ve been in contact with this week spoke highly of the work Kairi Sane has been doing as of late.

Specifically, there was said to be high praise following her match with Rhea Ripley on RAW this past Monday & from her recent backstage segments with Asuka.

After spending several months out injured, Kairi Sane returned to action in May, where she failed to qualify for the women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Two months later, Asuka joined back up with Sane, reuniting the Kabuki Warriors for the first time since 2024.
