Top WWE Star Claims Dominik Mysterio’s Advice Was Worthless

The WWE Hall Of Famer Who Says They Didn't See Dominik Mysterio As A Heel

2025 marks Dominik Mysterio’s 20th year in WWE.

Mysterio first appeared on TV in 2005 as an 8-year-old during a feud involving his father, Rey Mysterio, and Eddie Guerrero.

The storyline featured Guerrero claiming he was Dominik’s biological father, leading to a ladder match between him and Rey at that year’s SummerSlam.

Rey Mysterio overcame an emotionally tormenting journey, ultimately winning not just the match but also Dominik’s custody.

Over the years, Dominik Mysterio made sporadic appearances in WWE before turning professional in 2019.

He currently serves as the Intercontinental Championship on the RAW brand.

Top WWE Star Recalls Dominik Mysterio’s Advice

Damian Priest was Dominik Mysterio’s Judgment Day stablemate from 2022 before he was booted out after the 2024 SummerSlam with Rhea Ripley.

SummerSlam 2024 coincides with the day when he betrayed Rhea Ripley in her title defense match against Liv Morgan. Incidentally, Priest lost his world championship to Gunther at the same PLE.

As part of the stable, both Mysterio and Priest shared a mutual respect, even when the latter was involved in a power struggle with Finn Balor.

WWE’s social media handles shared a video commemorating Dominik Mysterio’s two decades in the company, with various stars sharing insights about him.

In the video, Priest claimed Mysterio’s advice to him was worthless.

When it comes to this business, I don’t think there’s any advice he’s given me worth anything. I’ll give him credit; he’s given me advice on watches and Louis Vuitton bags.

Mysterio is expected to defend his Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam against AJ Styles, whom he has been dodging for a few weeks citing an injury.
