WWE Star Didn’t Want To Kiss Stephanie McMahon, Says It Was Awkward

A current WWE Superstar had a tough experience kissing Stephanie McMahon.

In 2009, Randy Orton and Triple H were involved in an extremely heated and personal feud. A RAW segment saw The Viper handcuff The Game to the ring ropes before taking out his wife, Stephanie McMahon, with his signature DDT.

Orton then teased knocking The Game out with a sledgehammer before dropping it and kissing The Billion Dollar Princess in front of her husband.

During his recent appearance on the What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon podcast, the 14-time world champion and the former WWE Chairwoman recalled the controversial segment.

The Viper revealed that he was nervous during rehearsal as Stephanie’s father, Vince McMahon, and husband were there. He added that he hoped time would be cut and he would not have to do it.

So, I was probably. I was in my 20s and I was so nervous. And so, your father is there, your husband is there. So, yeah, like the rehearsal, I don’t know if you remember, but I just remember like Vince wanted to kinda see what we’re gonna be and H is handcuffed and how much distance, where does the DDT need to go down so he can’t reach you and all that.

And then, of course, like, ‘[Imitates Vince] Orton, you’re gonna [do the deal].’ Yeah, and I was like, I guess like this? You know, it was so awkward. And then in the back of my head, I’m like not really realizing how cool of a moment it would have eventually been, I’m thinking like, ‘God, I hope like time is cut and we have to cut the SK, I don’t even wanna say the K word.

But yeah, super, super, super super, like I was just like, awkward, dude, awkward, so awkward. I feel like I’m beat red. I’m usually beat red anyway but that’s an issue for my doctor to figure out. But back then, I was definitely blushing my a** off.

Damian Priest Was Shocked When Randy Orton Kissed Stephanie McMahon

During an episode of WWE Pop Question, Damian Priest was asked about what he considered the “most villainous moment” in WWE history. He picked Randy Orton kissing Stephanie McMahon in front of her handcuffed husband, Triple H.

The former World Heavyweight Champion claimed the historic segment was “by far the wildest thing.”

Man, when Randy Orton DDTed Stephanie and Triple H was handcuffed and she was laying there unconscious, we know what he did, and we saw Triple H’s reaction after. That was by far the wildest thing.

While The Viper continues to perform in WWE, Stephanie McMahon resigned from the company in 2023.
