Absent WWE Star Denies Injury Rumors, Reveals Current Status
A former champion has explained his long absence from WWE TV.
Tyler Bate has been off RAW and SmackDown since before WrestleMania 41, when he competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 18 episode of the blue brand.
Meanwhile, the former NXT United Kingdom Champion wrestled a few matches on Main Event between April 21 and May 26 before going missing from all WWE programming.
Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live recently reported that Bate and his New Catch Republic partner, Pete Dunne, were injured.
Bate recently took to Instagram to deny these rumors, stating that he was not injured but was waiting, seemingly for creative plans.

Several WWE Stars Are Currently Sidelined With Injuries
While Tyler Bate denied being injured, several other WWE Superstars are legitimately hurt, including Kevin Owens, Liv Morgan, Zoey Stark, and Chad Gable.
While Gable, Morgan, and Stark have already undergone surgery, The Prizefighter recently revealed on Cody Rhodes’ What Do Wanna Talk About? podcast that he would do the same later this month.
It’s been such a frustrating process, we’re letting my spinal cord heal as much as it can on its own before we go in for the surgery because how extensive the surgery will be depends on how my spinal cord looks when we go in there…
…We’re waiting until mid-July to do the surgery hopefully its a normal neck fusion, it might not be, we don’t know. So since then I’ve felt fine, my neck’s been fine I’m not in pain.
