WWE Star Demands “Respect On My Name” After Raw

The Miz has had a rough few weeks in WWE and following an encounter with Seth Rollins on Raw, the former WWE Champion wants the respect he feels he deserves.

WrestleMania 39 should have been a weekend of celebration for The Miz as he got to host the show alongside Snoop Dogg in Los Angeles, CA – but things did not go as planned.

On Saturday night, The Miz could not help but run his mouth about some supposed open challenge he had issued only to be shut up by the surprise appearance of Pat McAfee who went on to defeat the man who won the main event of WrestleMania 27.

On Sunday, things got even worse for The Miz. After arguing with Snoop Dogg for making the match between himself and McAfee, The Miz was then confronted by his one-time tag team partner Shane McMahon with the two squaring off in another impromptu bout. Seconds into that match, McMahon tore his quad, and in his place came Snoop Dogg who dropped Miz with two punches and a People’s Elbow to pick up the unlikeliest WrestleMania win in history.

The night after WrestleMania, The Miz came to the ring to complain about the surprises he was faced with at WrestleMania only to be met with the shock return of Matt Riddle. After The Miz tried to attack The Original Bro, he soon had the tables turned on him with Riddle taking out The Miz with the Bro Derek.

On Raw in North Little Rock, Arkansas, The Miz knew exactly who he’d be facing as he took on Seth Rollins. The match earned plaudits for both men’s efforts but ultimately it was Rollins that came out on top.

Following the match – and despite the defeat – The Miz took to social media and called for WWE fans to show him the respect he thinks he rightly deserves.
