Popular WWE Star Dealing With Major Injury For Last Three Years
A WWE Raw star is injured.
He might have only debuted back in January, but Penta is already proving to be one of the most popular stars on Monday Night Raw.
Prior to arriving in the company Penta wowed crowds in Mexico with AAA and CMLL before signing with AEW in 2019. Alongside his brother Rey Fenix, the star won the World Trios and World Tag Team Titles while cementing himself as one of the most must-watch stars in North America.
However, his eye-catching in-ring style has come at a cost, but impressively, he’s not letting that slow him down.
WWE Star Penta Injured
While appearing on Sheamus’ Celtic Warrior Workouts series, Penta surprisingly revealed that he’s been wrestling with a torn bicep for three years.
“I broke my arm. [Sheamus asked if he tore his bicep]. Yeah, yeah [it’s still torn],” he said. “Three years ago, one wrestler kicked me and broke my bicep. No [I never got it fixed]. This is like warrior [laughs].”
WWE Legend Tips Penta To Win World Title
During a recent interview, Rey Mysterio said Penta has all the tools to become a World Champion. The WWE Hall of Famer claimed the new signing had already proven his credentials just weeks after joining the company, before expressing his excitement at getting to share the ring with the star.
Mysterio added that he was really happy to see Penta say he wants to be the first Penta, and not the next Rey Mysterio in an interview after joining WWE.
Penta was most recently in action on the February 17 edition of Raw where he defeated Pete Dunne. The win means that he’s undefeated in five singles matches since making his WWE debut on January 6.
