Huge WWE Star Confesses To Having No Real Relationships Backstage
WWE backstage can be complicated. Not everyone is in it to make friends, and even if someone is out to make friends, it does not always work out.
A classic example can be John Cena. The megastar has been praised by many for his backstage demeanour and how he conducts himself. However, former WWE superstar David Otunga shared several backstage stories of The Champ that are nothing but negative.
On the other hand, certain superstars go to the arena, do their work, and come back. There is no motivation to mingle with the peers backstage.
Gunther is one such WWE superstar who does not mingle backstage
The Ring General is one of the top superstars of WWE. His name made the headlines once again when he defeated John Cena in The Champ’s final match.
However, he did not pin Never Seen 17. John Cena tapped out against him. This sparked fury in some superstars. During an interview with TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Gunther was asked if he had any friends who were rooting for him despite many wanting John Cena to win.
The former World Heavyweight Champion revealed that he does not have any friends backstage and does not talk to many people. So, it didn’t really matter to him.
I guess I don’t know because I don’t. Yeah, I don’t talk to many people backstage, to be honest. Yeah I try to do my own thing and yeah, do my work and go home. So, and also I don’t really. Yeah, it doesn’t really matter to me what other people think or how they judge it or whatever. I know what I did right and, I know what I do wrong and, whatever if they like it or not doesn’t change anything for me.
Gunther’s next feud is yet to be revealed.
