WWE Star Claims He’s The Rightful World Heavyweight Champion, Not CM Punk
CM Punk secured the World Heavyweight Championship after defeating Jey Uso. Prior to that, Seth Rollins had relinquished the title.
The Visionary was forced to vacate the championship spot after he suffered an injury and had to be written off WWE TV.
In the meantime, CM Punk seized the opportunity and took the gold for himself. However, this is not something that worked well with Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins is determined to take back the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk
The former Vision member spoke with Clutchpoints about his return and what he plans to do immediately after returning. According to the former World Heavyweight Champion, the only thing on his mind is to take back the World Heavyweight Championship. Seth Rollins believes he never lost the title, which is true, and he will take it back from whoever holds it when he returns.
The primary [target] in my return will actually not be a person at all, it’ll be a thing. That would be the World Heavyweight Championship because I never lost the title, so I am rightfully the World Heavyweight Champion.
I was stripped of that championship, and anybody who [is] in possession of that title, be it CM Punk, be it Bron Breakker, anybody who stands in my way, they will be dealt with.
Seth Rollins’ return date hasn’t been set in stone, but he is on the way to recovery and is timelined to return sometime before WrestleMania 42.
