WWE Star Calls For Husband To Return To The Company

There’s one woman in WWE who is hoping that she will be joined by her husband in the company once again.

WWE look to be adding to its extensive roster in the very near future with former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo set to make his debut on Raw against Chad Gable.

Rumours are also running rampant that Malakai Black is finished with AEW and could be heading back to WWE where he’d join his wife Zelina Vega on the roster. But it’s another wife looking for her husband to get another chance.

Chelsea Green Wants Matt Cardona Back In WWE

Speaking on The Wrestling Classic, WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green discussed her husband Matt Cardona’s support and explained why she wants him to get another run in the company:

I want to see Matt in WWE, honestly more than anything else, anything else that I even could want out of my career. I feel guilt because first of all, he supports me like no other. He’s so happy for me. He watches everything I do. He’s at shows when I’m winning championships.

But at the end of the day, I go home and I know that this was his dream. I joke with you about the fact that I googled how to be a WWE Diva, but he didn’t. He literally came out of the womb wanting to be a WWE Superstar.

Cardona was formerly known as Zack Ryder in WWE before his release from the company in 2020. Since then, he has arguably made more of a name for himself on the independent scene as the self-styled “King of the Indies.” Matt Cardona has previously made clear that if he returned to WWE it would be under his own name and that Zack Ryder was dead.
