WWE Locker Room Leader Finally Breaks Silence On Ron Killings Controversy

Ron Killings has been the talk of the town since returning to WWE.

The 53-year-old announced his release from the company on X, sparking confusion among fans and his peers.

R-Truth began trending immediately on social media, and podcasters discussed all things that could have gone wrong.

After his release on June 1, the subsequent Raw and SmackDown episodes featured an encore, during which the audience chanted, “We want Truth.”

Due to the recent mass releases, the chances of fans seeing Truth again were slim. However, everything changed at the Money in the Bank PLE when the former United States Champion showed up unexpectedly.

Truth was subsequently rebranded as Ron Killings and also went through a character arc change, now with a darker persona than the usually jovial one.

Killings addressed his character’s transition in the recent episode of Raw.

Natalya Expresses Her Thoughts About The Ron Killings Controversy

Ron Killings’ release had left a feeling of puzzlement among the company’s wrestlers.

Appearing on the No Holds Barred podcast, veteran wrestler Natalya addressed the issue for the first time.

You know, when he put out that tweet out last Sunday, like, when it all went down, I texted Truth right away, and I was like, ‘Truth, what’s going on, like, this has gotta be like a storyline or a prank or something?’

So, there was a series of events that happened, but he was so right in the way that, like, it’s the fans. It’s not one of those things that every time somebody gets released that everybody can just scream and shout from the rooftops they want someone back.

He’s just somebody that’s so beloved, and he’s somebody that can’t, you just can’t go ‘goodbye’. And I don’t know all the particulars that happened, but I do love that he’s basically crediting the fans. And it gives our fans the feeling that they do have a voice. [From 18:39]

Natalya also predicted that Killing’s return will allow him to tap into the greatest work that he has ever done, and that it will take him to a totally different realm in his career.

The pathway connecting Killings’ return and storyline currently remains a mystery. The upcoming weeks will certainly lift the curtain on his progression.
