WWE Star Finally Breaks Silence After Major Title Loss
A former WWE champion is disappointed by the treatment dealt to them.
Jacy Jayne conceded her position as the top female wrestler on NXT when she lost her championship to Tatum Paxley at Halloween Havoc.
Paxley qualified for the bout after winning a battle royal on October 14.
The Halloween Havoc match itself was not shy of interferences, as the remaining Fatal Influence and The Culling members made their presence felt by the ringside, resulting in the referee ejecting everyone midway through the fight.
In the final moments, Paxley’s stablemate, Izzy Dame, got hold of the NXT Women’s Championship and charged at Paxley, who moved out of the way, resulting in Jayne knocking out Dame.
Paxley then hit her Cemetery Drive finisher for the successful pinfall.
Meanwhile, Tatum Paxley immediately got back into action, defending her title on the latest NXT episode. She opted to choose her opponent by spinning the wheel.
Lola Vice emerged as the lucky winner.
However, during their title match, Jacy Jayne and her Fatal Influence teammates interfered and took out both the champion and the challenger. It’s fair to say that Jayne is not finished with her WWE title ambitions.
Jacy Jayne Reacts After Her WWE Title Loss
Jacy Jayne became the NXT Women’s Champion in May 2025, after shockingly winning against Stephanie Vaquer.
While Vaquer was subsequently drafted to the main roster, Jayne staked her claim as the WWE brand’s top female star.
Over the course of the next few months, she successfully defended her belt, even winning the TNA Knockouts World Championship to become a double champion.
She lost the TNA title to Ash by Elegance at NXT Heatwave.
It was then announced that NXT’s next event would be Deadline. An official poster was also released, which surprisingly did not feature Jayne.
The 29-year-old former champion took to X to lash out at the disrespect meted out to her.

On the upcoming NXT taping, Fatal Influence will challenge the trio of Tatum Paxley, Izzy Dame, and Lola Vice.
