WWE Star Branded Clumsy & Reckless

Long memories were on show on WWE SmackDown as one star was called out for being “clumsy & reckless” ahead of a major title match at SummerSlam.

Nia Jax ensured she’d be challenging for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam when she won the Queen of the Ring tournament by defeating Lyra Vakyria in Saudi Arabia in May.

Bayley has held that title since beating IYO SKY for the gold at WrestleMania 40 and she seems more than ready for the challenge of Jax as things got heated on SmackDown in Omaha.

Bayley and Nia Jax appeared in a split-screen promo with tensions running extremely high and it seemed the WWE Women’s Champion had not forgotten falling victim to Jax back in 2017.

Nia Jax “Reckless” Says Bayley In Heated WWE Interview

Despite winning a number one contender’s match to challenge for the title at SummerSlam 2017, Bayley was injured at the hands of Nia Jax before that bout could take place meaning that she missed out on a huge match at the biggest party of the summer. Now Bayley has reminded Jax of that match, noting she was injured not because Jax was so big and strong but rather because Jax was “big, clumsy, and reckless.”

Instead of challenging Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Title at SummerSlam, Bayley had to watch her close friend Sasha Banks – AEW’s Mercedes Mone – defeat Bliss for the gold instead. It wouldn’t be until May 2019 that Bayley would hold main roster singles gold again.
