WWE Star Blasts “Fragile Old Man” CM Punk
CM Punk isn’t popular with one of WWE’s biggest names.
Before WWE’s main event picture dived into complete and unadulterated chaos, CM Punk was scheduled to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40. However, after Punk suffered a serious triceps injury and The Rock returned to WWE, things changed dramatically.
While Cody Rhodes is now seemingly set to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, Rollins is without an opponent and as spiky as ever.
If fans thought Punk’s injury might have calmed hostilities between the star and Rollins they couldn’t be more wrong.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo during the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Show, Rollins described Punk as a “fragile old man” adding that he’d love to kick the cr*p out of him.
“I mean, look, one of us is a fragile old man and one of us is a young stallion. So, I’ll be back in a couple of weeks and he’ll be in a year or two till his next injury. I don’t know.
I’d love to kick the cr*p out of him. I’m sure he’d love to get in there and try to do something to me but it’s not going to work.
Am I disappointed? Only a little bit because I thought if we had an opportunity to do it, stomping his head into the mat would be the best at WrestleMania. It would be the best at WrestleMania in front of the biggest audience.
So, a little bummed by that but I feel like he’s talking about the greatest comeback of all time.”
CM Punk Isn’t Seth Rollins’ Only Target
While CM Punk has been Rollins’ main target, he’s far from the only one to be on the end of his insults. During a recent interview, Seth Rollins blasted Roman Reigns for “demeaning” the WWE Championship.
The Raw star talked up his World Heavyweight Title as the more prestigious belt, pointing to his record of defending it far and wide.
