WWE Star Basking In Becky Lynch’s Retirement

A top WWE star is delighted Becky Lynch is gone.

On the May 27th episode of Monday Night Raw, Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage Match to retain the Women’s World Title. The win came two days after Morgan beat The Man to win the title at King & Queen of the Ring.

Since then, Morgan has been a permanent fixture on Raw and her star has arguably never shone brighter as she does battle with Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest alongside Dominik Mysterio. By contrast, Lynch has taken a lengthy break from television following the expiration of her contract, sparking speculation she may have retired.

During an appearance on The Big Show with Rusic and Rose, Morgan reflected on her recent success while taking credit for “single-handedly” retiring Lynch.

“I’m so happy and I’m so proud. I’m just trying to enjoy it all and do everything justice. Two time world champion. Two-time tag team champion. Money in the Bank winner. I single-handedly retired Becky Lynch. I’m the only person to defeat Rhea Ripley in the last two years, and I have Daddy Dom. I’m a very very very happy girl,”

Becky Lynch Enjoying Hiatus

Becky Lynch has officially been a free agent since June 1stand she’s shown no sign of getting back in the ring any time soon. The star has repeatedly said she’s enjoying her time off while giving little away about her future.

Despite her absence, Lynch is expected to eventually return to WWE, and if and when she does, it’s been reported she’ll become the highest-paid woman in history.
