WWE Star Back In Action After Faction’s Betrayal

One WWE star has put the pain of being betrayed by their faction behind them as they get back in the ring.

NXT has not been a happy place for factions in recent months. Meta-Four went their separate ways when Noam Dar made his long-awaited return to NXT. Dar and Lash Legend are now the only members still on the WWE roster, as shortly after the split, Jakara Jackson and Oro Mensah were both part of roster releases.

Tony D’Angelo was betrayed by Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, leading to a huge match between those two, with questions remaining over where Luca Crusifino’s loyalties really lie.

Since he arrived back in WWE, Shawn Spears has been looking to build a group capable of tormenting the rest of the roster. Spears signed Niko Vance and Brooks Jensen up to be part of The Culling before Izzi Dame also arrived in the group after she betrayed D’Angelo as well. And it wasn’t long before The Culling culled one of their own.

Brooks Jensen Back In A WWE Ring

On the June 3rd edition of NXT, The Culling were backstage discussing Jensen and Vance’s tag team match on the following week’s show. Izzi Dame then brutally laid out Brooks Jensen with a steel chair to the back, declaring, “He’s out.” Dame noted she didn’t believe Jensen was committed to their cause, and Spears agreed.

Given recent releases, the move had people worried about Jensen’s future in WWE, but now the star has got back in the ring for the first time since being thrown out of The Culling. Jensen was in action at the NXT live event in Dace City on June 14th, where he picked up a win over Jamar Hampton. Fans of WWE LFG would recognise Hampton under another name as he participated in that series as Troy Yearwood.
