Top WWE Star Attacks Cody Rhodes In Parking Lot After Bad Blood

Cody Rhodes had an interesting night at Bad Blood.

In a move that appeared impossible at one time in the not-too-distant past, Cody Rhodes joined forces with Roman Reigns to take on The Bloodline at Bad Blood. While the alliance is uneasy at best, the pair got the win thanks to a helping hand from a returning Jimmy Uso.

However, there was another twist to come as Reigns and Uso left, Rhodes was attacked by The Bloodline one more time. Eventually, Uso talked Reigns into helping Rhodes and the trio stood tall in the ring.

Just as the credits were about to roll, The Rock’s music hit and the Final Boss arrived at the top of the stage. Although The Great One is seemingly keeping his cards close to his chest. As the crowd roared he raised an eyebrow, gave a countdown on his fingers and a cut-throat gesture, and left.

But if Cody Rhodes thought he was safe after the cameras stopped rolling, he was wrong.

For several weeks the tension between Kevin Owens and the American Nightmare has been growing. During their match at Bash In Berlin, a conflicted Owens listened to the angel on his shoulder and refused to attack Rhodes’ injured knee, a decision that helped cost him the match.

Since then the pair have struggled to remain on the same page, and things exploded after Bad Blood.

Fans captured footage of Owens confronting Rhodes in the parking lot, and while it’s unclear what was said between them, KO poked his one-time friend before attacking him. The brawling pair were quickly interrupted by security who pulled them apart.

None of WWE’s official social media channels have acknowledged the attack.
