WWE Star Apathetic After Money In The Bank Loss
A WWE star is already over Money In The Bank.
On the July 1st episode of Monday Night Raw, Dakota Kai took on Ivy Nile and Zoey Stark in a qualifying match for Money In The Bank. In the end, it was Stark who scored the victory — not that large portions of WWE’s fanbase were happy about it.
Stark will now take her place alongside Iyo Sky, Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton, and Naomi in the women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match on July 6th.
In response to her defeat, a frustrated Dakota Kai took to social media writing:
Honestly.. whatever. ✌🏽
Dakota Kai Begs WWE For Opportunity
The defeat comes days after an emotional Dakota Kai begged WWE to give her a chance as a singles star at a Premium Live Event.
In the video from a recent Twitch stream, Kai struggled to hold back the tears as she called on the company to get behind her. Although she first appeared for the company back in 2015, Kai has wrestled in just eight main roster Premium Live Events and none of those were as a singles star.
Kai has had three singles matches on NXT Premium Live Events but only won one of those bouts when she defeated Tegan Nox in a Street Fight at TakeOver: Portland in February 2020.
