WWE Star Allegedly Facing Year-Long Absence Due To Injury
WWE injuries are no joke, and it has led to careers ending and sometimes worse. Fans always hope for the best, and expect the pro-wrestler to come back stronger, but serious injuries lead to them being sidelined for a year or even more!
On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Zoey Stark entered the Money in the Bank qualifier round against Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley.
While The Eradicator emerged victorious, Zoery Stark suffered a horrible fate in the ring which resulted in her being taken backstage by medical personnel.
Zoey Stark might not return to WWE anytime soon
Stark suffered a terrible knee injury when she attempted a springboard missile dropkick but landed awkwardly. The match had to be paused while she was attended to, and resumed as a singles bout between Ripley and Sane once she left the ring.
During The Stevie Richards Show, her injury was discussed, and it is assumed that it will take at least a year to return to the squared circle.
It’s heartbreaking. And It’s her second one. Now there’s how long is it going to take her? It’s going to be a year minimum.
This isn’t the first time she is suffering a knee injury in WWE. Back in 2021, Zoey Stark was the victim of a knee injury which resulted in torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. She needed to have surgery and was out of action for almost nine months.
WWE has not yet released any official statement regarding her injury or the extent of it, however, she will not be able to perform anytime soon. She has shown gratitude for all the support she received following the injury.
