WWE Star Alexa Bliss To Feature In New Netflix Series
Alexa Bliss is keeping busy during her time away from WWE.
New Netflix pro-wrestling series “The Queen of Villains” was released on September 19th. The series is a five-part drama following the career of Japanese wrestling legend Dump Matsumoto.
In a new post on social media, Alexa Bliss revealed that she worked as part of the English voice cast on the series, voicing Maki Ueda.
Bliss said it was an honour to work on the project.
“I am BEYOND thankful and honored for this amazing experience. I had THE BEST time working with [director Timmy Red] on my first voiceover project! You were so helpful & patient with me (especially with the singing) – I’m just so honored to have voiced for Maki Ueda on this incredible series,”
“Thank you so much @netflix – this was truly so fun. I LOVED every second of ‘The Queen of [Villains]’ And I know you will too.”
Alexa Bliss has been absent from WWE since January 2023 and gave birth to her first child in November. However, Bliss has been spotted training and seemingly preparing for a comeback.
WWE Content Coming To Netflix
The next wrestling project to land on Netflix will be the “Mr. McMahon” docuseries on disgraced former WWE boss Vince McMahon.
There have been fears the documentary won’t focus enough on the allegations giving McMahon an easy ride. However, others have suggested the series will be a “double shovel burial” of Vince McMahon.
Meanwhile, WWE Raw will move to Netflix on January 6th, 2025.
