WWE Star Admits Losing To John Cena Broke His Heart

John Cena WWE Yell

A top WWE star has admitted to being left heartbroken after losing to John Cena.

On the November 10 episode of RAW, Cena made his final appearance in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, and while addressing the audience, he was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio.

A verbal confrontation ensued between the two generational talents, with Dominik even claiming superiority over the veteran star, despite not being at his peak.

Triple H, who was also in the ring at the time, announced an impromptu title defence for Mysterio, with his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line.

John Cena won the match, ending “Dirty” Dom’s 204-day run as the IC Champion.

While speaking to Hollywood actor Nick Turturro on Prince St. Pizza’s Delivering Happiness, the 28-year-old admitted that the loss to Cena broke his heart.

It broke my heart. I wasn’t expecting his old a** to come out there and do what he did, but at the end of the day, I’m like 30 years younger than this dude. I’ve got to get my lick back before he leaves.

Dominik Mysterio Gets Rematch At WWE Survivor Series

During John Cena’s final RAW appearance on November 17, he was interrupted again by the self-proclaimed ‘King of the Luchadores,’ demanding a rematch.

Cena proposed that they wrestle that same night in Madison Square Garden, but Mysterio said he wanted the match to be at WWE Survivor Series on November 29.

The 17-time world champion agreed. He was soon attacked by Dominik and his Judgment Day stablemates, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, which saw Sheamus and Rey Mysterio arrive and make the save.

A six-man tag team match was made official between the six superstars.

The babyfaces won after Cena pinned McDonagh after hitting an Attitude Adjustment.

Meanwhile, the men’s team for Survivor Series: Wargames was also finalized on the show.
