Major WWE Star Addresses Real-Life Heat With Becky Lynch
WWE superstar Becky Lynch is back in the news again, this time not for her title reign.
Fellow wrestler Charlotte Flair recently addressed her real-life animosity towards the Irish sensation.
Both women are part of the Four Horsewomen, alongside Bayley and Mercedes Mone (FKA Sasha Banks).
All four wrestlers have been credited for their contributions towards the development of the modern-day women’s division of the Stamford-based company.
Charlotte currently performs under the SmackDown brand, whereas Lynch is the Women’s Intercontinental Champion on RAW.
In 2021, the WWE draft saw Lynch move to RAW and Charlotte be drafted to SmackDown.
However, with Becky as the SmackDown Champion and Charlotte the RAW Champion, a title swap was proposed with Sonya Deville overseeing it.
During the exchange, things turned personal, resulting in a heated argument between the two wrestlers backstage.
Various reasons, including Lynch’s meteoric rise within the company and Flair’s jealousy, have been cited as contributing to a crack developing in their relationship.
Flair appeared on the Games with Names podcast, where she opened up about her current situation with Becky Lynch.
We’re cordial. No, we’re good. I still think there is some story left there. There’s more meat on that bone. I don’t think there’s a nail in the coffin yet.
Bayley, too, spoke about her complicated relationship with the Four Horsewomen on RAW Recap recently.
Charlotte Recalls Her Favorite Match With Becky Lynch
On the same podcast, Charlotte spoke about her favorite match against the Irish Lasskicker.
Both women have fought against each other at various events, including televised shows and PLEs.
Flair put their champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series 2021 at the top of the list.
Our Survivor Series match was actually really incredible. Becky and I have had a lot of great matches, but our Survivor Series match was pretty incredible too.
Lynch will defend her Intercontinental Championship against Bayley on the next RAW episode.
