WWE’s Stand On Drew McIntyre’s Unfortunate Situation Before SummerSlam

Drew McIntyre has found himself in a bizarre situation ahead of SummerSlam 2025.

The Scottish Warrior had travelled to England for a personal trip, but while trying to return to the United States, he was denied boarding the flight since he did not have his passport.

He revealed the situation by posting a video from the countryside, and also blamed Jelly Roll for the unfortunate incident.

If The Scottish Warrior is unable to return ahead of the premium live event, a major storyline will need to be cancelled. Since every big event usually has a celebrity match, McIntyre’s match was the celebrity match for this year’s SummerSlam.

He was supposed to form a tag team with Logan Paul and face Jelly Roll & Randy Orton.

While the future is unclear, Fightful Select has reported that WWE is confident the situation will be resolved before the SummerSlam weekend.

WWE sources we spoke to feel confident it will be rectified, although they obviously weren’t pleased that McIntyre is going through the situation. McIntyre has been a resident of the United States for years and lives in Nashville. [h/t: Ringside News]
