WWE Spoil New Name For Debuting Bloodline Star

The Bloodline WWE

With a new member of The Bloodline apparently on the way, it seems WWE might have revealed their new name in the company.

Ever since Roman Reigns lost his Undisputed WWE Universal Title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, things have not been the same. The Tribal Chief has not been seen in WWE since then and in his absence a power vacuum appeared at the top of The Bloodline.

Solo Sikoa quickly filled that space and took out Jimmy Uso after his WrestleMania loss to his twin brother Jey and welcomed ex-NJPW star Tama Tonga into WWE and straight into The Bloodline. They were soon joined by Tama’s brother Tonga Loa who returned to WWE for the first time in 10 years at Backlash France. And there could be more to come for The Bloodline.

Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam has reported that NJPW star Hikuleo has finished up with the company after Dominion where he and El Phantasmo lost the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Title to TMDK’s Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste.

The report noted that Hikuleo is now likely on his way to WWE where it is presumed that he will be part of The Bloodline’s storyline where he would join his brothers Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

WWE Name For Hikuleo Revealed?

Now a USPTO filing made by WWE has given the clearest indication yet that another member of the Tongan family is on their way as the company look to trademark the name Talla Tonga. The filing is said to be for:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

This is by no means confirmation that Hikuleo is heading to WWE or this would be his name in the company but it looks likely that The Bloodline will have a new member sooner rather than later.
