Major WWE SmackDown Star Officially Moves To Raw

One major SmackDown star is now officially part of the WWE Raw roster following a huge weekend of action.

At Evolution, IYO SKY defended the Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley, but neither of those women left the show with the title. Naomi cashed in her Money In The Bank contract during the match, making it a triple threat bout and winning the title.

Many fans had expected Naomi to go after the WWE Women’s Title, especially as her former friend Jade Cargill will challenge for that title at SummerSlam against Tiffany Stratton. However, Naomi won’t be going after any SmackDown star as her move to Monday Night Raw has been confirmed.

WWE Raw Roster To Proceed With Caution

On the July 14th edition of Monday Night Raw, Naomi opened the show and told the fans in attendance that she was done with the foolishness of SmackDown and claimed neither Cargill nor Bianca Belair wanted her to succeed, so now she was part of the Raw roster as Women’s World Champion.

Naomi soon had company in the form of both Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, who were less than thrilled that she had interrupted their bout and took the title. With a relentless PLE calendar to work with, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce soon appeared to make a triple threat match official between the three women for the Women’s World Title at SummerSlam.
