Fan Favourite WWE SmackDown Star In Line For Major Push

WWE has major plans for Shotzi.

During the 9/16 episode of SmackDown, Shotzi made her return to WWE programming when she came to the aid of Raquel Rodriguez before the latter was attacked by Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai of Damage CNTRL. The SmackDown appearance also signified a potential change in Shotzi’s character arch as when she was last seen on WWE TV, she was displayed as a heel.

In an update provided by Fightful Select, Shotzi is now internally listed on company’s roster under the babyface category. Per the report, Shotzi’s famous tank could be on the way back to pair up with Shotzi’s return to a babyface moniker as the tank was reportedly sent to the location of last Friday’s SmackDown, however, it wasn’t used during Shotzi’s aforementioned segment.

In case you weren’t a fan of NXT’s black and gold era, Shotzi’s tank was a staple of both her entrance and character during her tenure in WWE’s developmental territory from 2019 through 2021, where she was a one-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside current AEW star, Athena (FKA Ember Moon).
