WWE SmackDown Spoilers For November 28th

WWE Smackdown Logo Arena

The November 28th edition of WWE SmackDown was taped one week early due to the American Thanksgiving holiday.

WWE fans at SmackDown in Denver on November 21st got a special treat because there was a double taping of the blue brand.

The reason why there was a double taping is that the massive American Thanksgiving holiday is on Thursday, November 27th, and WWE wanted to give their staff and wrestlers that day off instead of having them travel for an episode of SmackDown the next day.

That meant that after the November 21st WWE SmackDown episode, there was a taping for the November 28th edition of SmackDown, which will air one day before Survivor Series.

WWE SmackDown Spoilers – November 28th

Here are the SmackDown spoilers for November 28th, with thanks to PWInsider. Please keep in mind also that there were likely backstage segments taped that didn’t air at the taping, but will likely be edited into the show next week.

Match #1: The Last Time Is Now Tournament – Quarterfinals: Jey Uso defeated Rusev by pinfall. Jey won after hitting a Spear and an Uso Splash.

The Miz and R-Truth both want into the tournament in place of Sheamus. Miz switched the name to his own when R-Truth was talking. The Miz is back in the tournament.

Chelsea Green had a Women’s US Championship celebration. Chelsea called herself the greatest female champion in all of North America. The WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill took exception to that right before Chelsea’s firework celebration went off and laid her out. When Green came to, the fireworks went off.

The Women’s Survivor Series team of Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and AJ Lee had a backstage.

Match #2: The Last Time Is Now Tournament – Quarterfinals: LA Knight defeated The Miz by pinfall. It was said to be a really good match.

There was a backstage segment with the women’s heel team of Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, and Kairi Sane.

Match #3: WarGames Advantage Match: Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka.

Match #4: Survivor Series Elimination Match: Solo Sikoa’s Team (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa & JC Mateo) defeated Sami Zayn’s Team (Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) with Solo Sikoa as the lone survivor.

The order of eliminations went like this:

Mateo eliminated
Nakamura eliminated
Tanga Loa eliminated
Shelley eliminated
Sabin eliminated
Fénix eliminated
Tama Tonga eliminated
Talla Tonga eliminated
Sami eliminated

That means Sami Zayn was left in a 3-on-1 situation; he eliminated Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga, but Solo Sikoa beat Zayn to win the match.

After the match, The Wyatt Sicks appeared and attacked Solo Sikoa. That was the end of the show.

The next WWE PLE is Survivor Series on November 29th in San Diego. Here’s the lineup so far:
