WWE SmackDown Spoilers For July 26th

Solo Sikoa Tonga Loa Tama Tonga WWE

With WWE heading for a tour of Japan, a rare taped edition of SmackDown will air on Friday, 26th July.

WWE fans in Omaha, Nebraska got more bang for their buck as two episodes of SmackDown were taped in the city on July 19th. The company is heading to Japan as part of its SuperShow Summer Tour with one show in Osaka and two in Tokyo’s famed Ryogoku Kokugikan.

The live SmackDown on July 19th saw Logan Paul and LA Knight’s US Title match for SummerSlam made official in a heated contract signing. The night kicked off with Cody Rhodes discussing The Bloodline’s attack on himself and Randy Orton before he was interrupted by A-Town Down. That led to a tag team match being made with Rhodes given the rest of the night to find a partner.

As Rhodes made his way towards the entrance backstage before the match he was joined by Kevin Owens but The Bloodline was watching. Rhodes and Owens won the match but The Bloodline swarmed taking out both men, making Rhodes watch their attack on Owens before they drove the WWE Champion through a table with a triple powerbomb. Cody Rhodes will defend his WWE Title against Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam.
