WWE SmackDown Spoilers For December 20

With the holiday season upon us, WWE taped SmackDown to air on the 20th of December with a surprising title match taking place.

The 13th of December edition of SmackDown saw Jade Cargill’s replacement as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion named. Jade Cargill was taken out in a vicious backstage attack that led to her being pulled out of WarGames and now she’s no longer a champion.

Nick Aldis was set to strip Cargill and Bianca Belair of their championship but Naomi conveniently stepped in and offered to partner Belair instead. Aldis accepted that arrangement as long as they defended the title on the following show.

SmackDown also saw Braun Strowman make his shock return to WWE after a recent injury as he became a permanent move to the blue brand. And Strowman can also be seen in action on December 20th as well.

• Carmelo Hayes defeated Braun Strowman
• Johnny Gargano defeated Alex Shelley
• WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Bianca Belair and Naomi (c) defeated Nia Jax and Candice LeRae by pinfall
