WWE SmackDown Newcomer Earns Statement Win On In-Ring Debut
WWE has planned a huge night of action for tonight’s SmackDown in Berlin as it looks to kick off the Road to Royal Rumble on a high note, with multiple title matches set for later in the night.
The night kicked off as Randy Orton made his way to the ring, but before he could say anything, he was interrupted by Trick Williams, who got in Randy’s face.
He paid for his actions as Orton punched him in the face and hit him with a Spike DDT, moments before he was due to make his in-ring debut on WWE SmackDown.
Trick Williams marks WWE SmackDown debut with a huge win
Williams marked his appearance on SmackDown last week by getting in the bad books of Sami Zayn and Rey Fenix. General Manager Nick Aldis took advantage of the situation and announced a match between Williams and Fenix for tonight.
Fenix caught Trick by surprise during the early goings of the match, but the former TNA World Champion quickly found his feet and took control of the match.
Trick never looked out of the match since taking control despite Fenix’s best efforts, and ultimately earned the victory on his debut after reversing a quick pin attempt from Fenix into a pin of his own, albeit doing so by holding Fenix’s tights.
