Drew McIntyre is a WWE SmackDown superstar again and so are two former champions.

The transfer window storyline has seen numerous Raw and SmackDown superstars switching brands over the last few months.

It was announced before SmackDown that Drew McIntyre was heading to the SmackDown brand once again, which is a familiar place for him.

During a promo on SmackDown, McIntyre talked about how Raw was a place where everybody was trying to stab you in the back and that bald idiot Adam Pearce didn’t know what he was doing. Drew was happy to be on SmackDown for a fresh start.

The return to SmackDown was a successful one for McIntyre since he picked up a big win in a triple threat match with LA Knight and Jimmy Uso. McIntyre gained entry into the Men’s WWE Elimination Chamber match with John Cena, CM Punk and three other men yet to be determined.

Nick Aldis Welcomes Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions To SmackDown

In a backstage segment, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis welcomed Kayden Carter and Katana Chance to the blue brand after acquiring the two women via the transfer window. That led right into Carmelo Hayes interrupting, so there wasn’t much time given to Carter and Chance on the show.

Carte and Chance are former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions who also held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles when those existed. While the duo has competed as singles wrestlers at times, they are mostly featured as a tag team.
