WWE SmackDown Begins With An Attack On Former World Champion

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown was the first of a series of upcoming episodes that will be taped as we head towards the holiday season. Following this week’s episode of RAW, the fans in Hershey, Pennsylvania, were treated to the taping of tonight’s show.

The results of tonight’s episode of SmackDown have already been doing the rounds online, and it promises to be an exciting episode filled with action on the blue brand.

The night began from where the show left off last week as The Terror Twins, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, beat Aleister Black and Zelina Vega in the previous week’s main event, and Priest came to the ring to address his win.

Priest began the show with a heartfelt homage to the recently retired WWE legend, John Cena. He seemed ready to move on from his feud with Black before Zelina Vega interrupted the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Her words proved to be a distraction as Black jumped Priest from behind, but he overpowered him and chokeslammed Black on the ring apron. He was setting up a table to attack Aleister but he used a steel chair to turn the tide in his favour.

Black then used advantage of a groggy Priest and hit him with a Meteora through the table that Priest had set up, before he headed backstage with Zelina Vega.
