WWE Signs Another Star With Bloodline Family Ties
WWE signs another member of the Anoa’i family.
At Crown Jewel, Sami Zayn came to the aid of Roman Reigns and The Usos after the trio had been defeated by Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga. With the match done and dusted, the assault continued, but Zayn ran in to make the save.
After teasing joining Sikoa, Zayn hit him with a suplex. But not everything went to plan as he accidentally flattened Reigns with a Helluva Kick after Sikoa moved out of the way.
On the following episode of Raw, Jey Uso invited Sami Zayn to SmackDown, but Jimmy warned the star to stay away. For his part, Zayn said he wasn’t prepared to get back involved with The Bloodline’s family drama.
At this point that drama has been running for years, and it shows no sign of stopping.
WWE Makes Another New Signing
While Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu have already joined The Bloodline on SmackDown in 2024, it’s been reported that Hikuleo also signed with WWE in July, although he’s yet to make his debut. In addition, the company has repeatedly been linked with former MLW star Lance Anoa’i, and it seems a deal has been made.
On November 7th, MuscleManMalcom shared a photo of Anoa’i in NXT gear, writing “Lance Anoa’i is in NXT 👀” A follow-up report from Fightful Select has now confirmed that the star signed with WWE back in the summer, but he’s been sidelined by an injury.
As a result, there are no plans for Anoa’i to appear in NXT or on the main roster. It’s believed he won’t be cleared for “a while.”
It’s been announced that the first WWE ID talent will be revealed at Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling’s Super Sunday event on November 10th.
There’s been a great deal of speculation that the talent in question could be Zilla Fatu — the son of the late Umaga. In recent weeks Fatu has claimed he’s “destined” to eventually sign with the sports entertainment giant.
