WWE Signs Another International Star

Triple H WWE

Another top international star is heading to WWE.

After losing out on several free agents as the likes of Will Ospreay, Mercedes Mone, and Kazuchika Okada joined AEW, WWE has stepped up its recruitment drive in recent months. This has seen the company land Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer. Meanwhile, it’s been reported WWE has recently agreed terms with Hikuleo.

The recent capture of Stephanie Vaquer has upset several promotions who had booked her for matches in the coming weeks. Her departure from CMLL was abrupt and came a little over a week after she appeared at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Despite the controversy, unlike fellow international signing Giulia, Vaquer has already wrestled at two live events and confirmed she’s heading to NXT.

WWE Looks To Australia

Despite the raft of new signings, it’s been reported by Fightful Select that WWE has agreed a deal with Australian independent star Delta Brady. Delta took part in a try-out in the run-up to Elimination Chamber, and at the time it was believed she was heading to WWE.

It’s now come to light that she was offered a contract following that try-out in February that she duly signed, but she was allowed to complete her remaining Australian dates.

Delta is expected to move to the United States before the end of July, but it’s unknown exactly when she’ll report to the Performance Center. However, the star is expected to start in NXT when she does begin her journey with the company.
