WWE Show Renewed For Another Season
A new WWE show will be back.
WWE LFG premiered on February 16 on A&E, with 16 hopefuls attempting to earn a contract with NXT.
The show features several legends such as The Undertaker, Booker T, Mickie James, and Bubba Ray Dudley guiding the would-be stars through what it takes to become a professional wrestler. As many long-time fans have pointed out, the show closely resembles Tough Enough, which helped launch the careers of several Superstars.
According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the show has already been renewed for a second season. Not only that, filming is already underway in Orlando, Florida.
There’s no word on which WWE legends will be involved.
Mickie James Reflects On Amazing WWE Return
During a new interview, Mickie James said she was delighted to be involved in the project while tipping all 16 competitors to find success in the future. James added that it felt “weird” to be given the tag “legend,” admitting she feels as though she’s still learning.
The show represents James’ first appearance on WWE television since appearing at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Since leaving TNA in late 2023, the star has wrestled just three times but has repeatedly insisted she isn’t retired.
During her career with the sports entertainment giant, James won the Women’s Title five times, and the Divas Championship once.
